Bespoke wet room installation within a loft space

New Malden

This carefully executed project transformed a loft into a refined, fully waterproofed wet room, delivered to a notably high standard. The build commenced with the installation of 25mm WBP plywood, followed by a Ditra uncoupling membrane and a Warmup electric underfloor heating system, ensuring long-term stability, comfort, and performance. New hot and cold water services were discreetly routed, after which both floor and wall tiling were installed with meticulous attention to alignment and detailing. The sanitaryware specification included a Japanese toilet, a vanity basin with cabinet and tap, and a precisely positioned shower mixer and outlet. A bespoke integrated mirror was recessed into the stud wall, maintaining clean lines and visual balance. Final finishes included full redecoration of ceilings and timberwork, completed to a crisp, contemporary standard. Kitchen refurbishment

Kingston Upon Thames

Full Kitchen Refurbishment – Kingston upon Thames We were delighted to carry out a complete kitchen refurbishment for a private homeowner in Kingston upon Thames. The client was looking to replace their dated kitchen with something more functional, elegant, and in keeping with their home, opting for a classic shaker-style design with beautiful stone worktops. The works were completed over the course of three weeks and involved a full electrical rewire, including first and second fix, installation of new downlights, sockets, switches, and a modern extractor hood. The consumer unit was upgraded, with certification provided on completion. Plumbing adjustments were made to suit the new layout, including modifications to the hot, cold, and waste pipes, and installation of a new sink and tap. To ensure a level base, we applied a self-levelling compound across the kitchen floor before laying high-quality luxury vinyl flooring throughout both the kitchen and adjoining dining area. We also fitted new skirting boards and architraves to finish the space to a high standard. The kitchen cabinetry and appliances were supplied by a trusted local Howdens branch. The client chose a timeless shaker-style finish that blends traditional charm with a clean, contemporary feel. Stone worktops added durability and visual appeal, while integrated appliances contributed to a seamless, functional layout. The result is a fresh, welcoming kitchen that feels brighter, better organised, and more in tune with modern living. The new layout improves usability day-to-day, while the choice of materials adds warmth and character to the space. The client was extremely pleased with the outcome and shared excellent feedback on the quality of the finish, attention to detail, and the smooth running of the project from start to finish. If you’re thinking about upgrading your kitchen, we’d be happy to help you bring your vision to life — combining skilled workmanship with high-quality materials to deliver a space you’ll enjoy for years to come.

Surbiton

Another successful project completed for our client in Surbiton. The works included the installation of a Howdens kitchen with base units, wall cabinets, end panels and plinths, together with the insertion of concrete lintels within the masonry walls above door openings. We also lowered the kitchen and entrance hallway ceilings and carried out a full programme of first and second fix electrics, including a complete re-wire to the kitchen and hallway, installation of downlights, sockets and switches, and full consumer unit testing with certification on completion. Plumbing works included hot, cold and waste pipe alterations, fitting of the sink and tap, as well as new radiators and valves. The uneven kitchen floor was levelled using a self-levelling compound, followed by the installation of luxury vinyl flooring in both the kitchen and dining room. New skirting boards and architraves were fitted, and all walls, ceilings and woodwork were painted and decorated. The project was completed with the fitting of new internal doors and the conversion of an existing cupboard into a dedicated space for a washing machine, resulting in a clean, practical and well-finished home.

House refurbishment

Wimbledon

House Refurbishment in Wimbledon Transforming a Period Home with Precision and Elegance At Waymore Home, we recently completed a comprehensive house refurbishment in Wimbledon, delivering a full-scale interior transformation that seamlessly blends modern functionality with timeless character. Commissioned by a private homeowner, the project focused on enhancing both the structure and aesthetics of a well-loved family residence. As with all of our work, this refurbishment reflects our hallmark attention to detail, expert craftsmanship, and a meticulous, end-to-end approach to project delivery. Scope of Works The renovation commenced with a full internal strip-out, including the removal of all existing floor coverings, skirting boards, and selected internal walls—most notably the partition between two adjoining bedrooms. This reconfiguration created a more open and functional layout, while respecting and preserving the home’s original architectural charm. Radiators were repositioned to align with the new room configurations, with corresponding alterations to the heating pipework to ensure optimal performance. Electrical works included the relocation of existing sockets and light switches, as well as the replacement of the outdated consumer unit with a modern RCBO-equipped system. All works were fully certified upon completion, in line with current safety regulations. To improve structural integrity and floor level uniformity, all joists were carefully inspected, levelled, and reinforced with additional structural timber where required. These were then overboarded using robust 22mm OSB panels, providing a solid, future-proof foundation for final finishes. New partition walls were constructed using high-grade C24 structural timber and finished with plasterboard, followed by a full professional skim for a seamless, high-quality interior surface throughout the home. Bespoke joinery was a key element of this project. In the master bedroom, we designed and constructed made-to-measure built-in wardrobes, tailored to maximise storage while enhancing the room’s visual appeal. All internal door frames were replaced and fitted with new solid core doors, complete with premium ironmongery to ensure both durability and a consistent design aesthetic across the property. The final stage of the project involved complete redecoration. All ceilings and walls were meticulously prepared and painted, while timber features—including skirting boards, architraves, and internal doors—were finished to an impeccable standard, ensuring a clean and elegant result throughout.
